Cortney Lowinski

Cortney Lowinski is an actor and theatre educator receiving her M.F.A in Drama from the University of Virginia. Originally from the Chicagoland area, she received her B.A. in Theatre from Loyola University Chicago. Her studies carried her to London where she earned her M.A. in Performance from East 15 Acting School and then to Poland to study the practices of Jerzy Grotowski. On stage, Cortney performed at top Chicago theatres such as Trap Door, Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, and Shattered Globe. Favorite Chicago acting credits include Core of the Pudel, Love Song, The Realistic Joneses, Hannah & Martin, Animals Out of Paper, and Happy Now. Cortney can be seen in the independent film Olympia and the Amazon original series Utopia. Cortney has taught throughout Chicagoland at North Central College, Acting Studio Chicago, Actors Training Center, and was a graduate instructor at UVA. She is a member of SAG/AFTRA.
